Key Results from This Week’s Primaries: Maryland Senate Matchup Set, West Virginia Governor and Senate Races Decided
The results of this week’s primaries are in, and the races have been intense and closely watched. In Maryland, the Senate matchup is set, with former Gov. In Nebraska’s 2nd District, Rep. Don Bacon secured victory in the primary, fending off a challenge from right-wing Republican Dan Frei. This outcome presents a challenge for Democrats, as Bacon is expected to be a tough opponent in the swing seat come November.
