Close Race Between Morrisey and Capito in West Virginia Governor Race: New Polling Data
The race for the governorship of West Virginia is heating up, with Patrick Morrisey and Moore Capito neck and neck in the latest polling data. According to an exclusive 13 News/Emerson College poll, Morrisey is currently leading with 28% of support, but Capito is not far behind with 25% of voters polled backing him.
The other GOP candidates for governor have also seen an increase in their percentage points, with Chris Miller going from 16% to 19%, and Mac Warner from 6% to 12%. This indicates a tight race among the top contenders for the position.
