Trump’s Fourth Day in Hush Money Trial: Jury Selection Complete, Opening Statements Looming

Former President Donald Trump appeared in court for the fourth day of his hush money trial, where a jury has been selected and opening statements are set to begin. Trump, who has been vocal about his claims of presidential immunity, took to Truth Social over the weekend to express his frustrations about the case.

In a tragic turn of events, a man who set himself on fire outside the Manhattan courthouse where Trump’s trial is taking place has died. Maxwell Azzarello, 37, posted a conspiracy-laden manifesto online before the incident.

After four days of jury selection, the final alternate jurors were chosen on Friday from a pool of Manhattan residents. The 12 jurors and six alternates will ultimately decide Trump’s fate in the hush money trial.

On Monday, Judge Juan Merchan will determine whether Trump’s previous misconduct and court cases can be included in the proceedings. Meanwhile, Trump was forced to cancel his first public address in North Carolina since the trial began due to inclement weather.

As the trial continues, the big question remains: will Trump go to prison if convicted on the numerous felony charges he is facing? The trial has already proven to be eventful, with Trump’s legal team attempting various defenses to delay the proceedings.

The trial has garnered significant attention, with the nation watching closely as the former president faces the legal consequences of his actions. Stay tuned for more updates on this historic trial.
