Trump narrowly beats Stormy Daniels and Denali the Cat in race for Libertarian nomination

Donald Trump Receives Six Votes at Libertarian Party Convention

The former president, Donald Trump, received a hostile reception at the Libertarian Party convention on Saturday, where he was booed while addressing attendees. Despite this, Trump received six write-in votes on Sunday when attendees were called upon to elect their party’s presidential nominee. This put him ahead of former porn star Stormy Daniels and Denali the Cat, with whom he had an affair.

Trump made promises to the Libertarians, including commuting the sentence of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road, on day one if elected. However, his efforts to win over the crowd did not seem to have much effect, as he only received less than one percent of the vote.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also did not fare well, receiving only 19 votes. Trump, known for his ability to spin events in his favor, claimed that he could have secured the Libertarian nomination if not for the rules preventing him from doing so.

Despite the lackluster support from Libertarians, Trump remains confident in his ability to win the upcoming election. His remarks and the reactions from attendees at the convention have sparked discussions and debates among political analysts and voters alike.
